What is 'Here is How'?
Here is How transforms the traditional street fair into a dynamic platform for mutual care and creative solidarity. Instead of going booth to booth visiting vendors, attendees collect printed "How-To" pages created and presented by local orgs, individuals, groups, or collectives and bind them into a free, custom resource guide on-site.
Hosted at RELAY Santa Fe and across All Trades Road, Here Is How transforms the block into a lively ecosystem of skill sharing, mutual aid, and radical joy. Partner venues host workshops and programming, while the street buzzes with local food, buskers, live performances, and meaningful conversations. End the day at the culminating dance party at RELAY.

How Can I Participate?
Host a Booth or Table
Join us as a table host at Here Is How—Santa Fe’s zero-cost knowledge exchange festival! In lieu of booth fees, participating organizations, artists, and small businesses share one actionable skill on an 8.5" x 11" How-To page.
Host a Workshop or Demonstration
Can't fit it all on a single sheet of paper? Teach a workshop, do a demo, or give a talk during the event.
Help us Create a Vibrant Atmosphere
Are you a Musician? Performer? Juggler? A local food vendor? Do you want to put on a puppet show? We are looking for all sorts of contributions to make our day more vibrant.

No tickets or sign-ups are needed—simply show up to enjoy local food, live music, and interactive workshops. Wander the block to collect practical "How-To" skill pages from local neighbors, then head to RELAY Santa Fe to hand-bind your own free, custom handbook to take home.
Participate Remotely
Can’t make it to All Trades Road? Submit your own custom "How-To" page online to share your skills from afar—we'll feature remote submissions at the festival via QR codes and print as many physical copies as our budget allows.
